The Level 5 Exercise and Fitness course is a brilliant course for anyone who is interested in the fitness industry and becoming a personal trainer. It qualifies you with all the skills needed and an extra higher qualification in the NCEF. I would highly recommend it and it's a great college.
I would highly recommend this course to anyone thinking of a career in the health & fitness industry. All tutors are highly experienced and pass on a wealth of knowledge to all students and are more than willing to help in any way throughout the year. They provide constant support and feedback at regular intervals. There is excellent add on courses available to all students like the NCEF the highest standard fitness instructor course in ireland, a national certificate in strength&conditioning which is also the highest recognised short course in strength and conditioning in ireland and a pool lifeguard all on top of your FETAC level 5 award in just one year.
As a mature student returning to education after ten years, I found this course to be a perfect fit for me. With team building events from the start and throughout, it provided a great environment for learning. Each module was covered in a detailed yet fun and practical way making full use of the list of amenities including a gym, sportsfields, computer facilities and also a PLC student cafe. The tutors were knowledgeable and always there for support and advice. I just finished the Exercise, Sport & Nutrition level 5 course and I am looking forward to going back in September for the level 6.
